As first reported by Combate, Dana White has now confirmed that the UFC is working on a bout between Bantamweight Champion Henry Cejudo and Jose Aldo. The fight is scheduled to take place at UFC 250 on May 9th in Brazil.
Cejudo is coming off double shoulder surgery after defeating Marlon Moraes for the Flyweight title. As for Aldo, his last fight came a month ago in a loss to Moraes. This comes as a surprise, as Petr Yan and Aljamain Sterling have been in line for contention as well. For ESPN’s Brett Okamoto, he seems to agree as well:
