On Wednesday, the first episode of WWE NXT aired on USA. With it, the main event between North American Champion Velveteen Dream and Roderick Strong ended with a new holder of the title.
Strong is a member of the Undisputed Era, which also consists of the NXT Champion Adam Cole and Tag Team title holders Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish.
Before the WWE, Strong won the ROH World, Tag Team, and the TV title. Prior to that, he also held the PWG World and Tag Team titles.
Strong will still have to deal with Dream and others now that he is the North American title holder. However, with his experience in the ring, he could be built for a lengthy Championship reign.
