After ending the 2019 season with the Cleveland Indians, outfielder Yasiel Puig was expected to find a new home during the recent offseason. On Tuesday, Puig inked a deal with the Atlanta Braves.

One night prior to the 2019 MLB Trade Deadline, the Cincinnati Reds dealt Puig to the Indians as part of a three-team trade. In return, the Reds received pitcher Trevor Bauer.

To date, Puig has maintained a productive career. Across seven seasons, he has totaled 834 hits, 132 home runs, and 415 RBIs while upholding a .277 batting average. Last season alone, Puig held a slugging percentage of .377 with the Indians in the final 50 games of the season.
