It's a #NewEra for #SDLive and a new era needs NEW Championships! Tonight @shanemcmahon & I will debut TWO new titles exclusive to #SDLive!

There has been confirmation that one of the championships will be a new Women’s title. Rumor has it that the other will be a new Tag Team championship. This would be a great way for SmackDown to give more of a competitive feel to it’s brand. There are plenty of talented women’s wrestlers on SmackDown, including Alexa Bliss, Carmella, and Nikki Bella.
The tag team division on SmackDown is also interesting. With teams like The Usos, The Hype Bros, American Alpha, and The Vaudevillians, there is sure to be an endless number of plausible contenders for the new Tag Team Championship, should there be one. We saw an incredible 12 Man tag team match on the SummerSlam kickoff show between all of the SmackDown teams, and this tag title could really add more of a competitive edge in that division.
