With SummerSlam just a few days away, the WWE begins the festivities with NXT Takeover Brooklyn 4 on Saturday night. Expectations are higher than ever, but who will come out on top and win their respective matches?

Tommaso Ciampa (c) vs. Johnny Gargano

Last Man Standing Match For The NXT Championship

This was originally scheduled as a triple threat match, but a groin injury to Alister Black left this bout between Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano. Just a few weeks ago on NXT, Ciampa surprised everyone by defeating Black to become the NXT Champion. After a feud over the past two years, Ciampa and Gargano have been repetitive as of late. While adding Black was a smart idea, the injury bug has put a foil into this match. With Ciampa recently winning the title, it’s not smart to have him lose it this early on.

Adam Cole (c) vs Ricochet

NXT North American Championship

Since arriving at NXT last year, Adam Cole formed the Undisputed ERA with Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly, adding Rodrick Strong to the group later on. In addition, he won the NXT North American Championship and became one of the best heels in the NXT. At the same time, Ricochet has also made a name for himself since debuting in NXT.

This match has the opportunity to steal the show if given the right amount of time, as both superstars are talented and can put on a quality match. At the end of the day, Cole is a better wrestler than Ricochet and has momentum by his side due to him having experience in competing in big matches like this so he should retain his title.

Shayna Baszler (c) vs. Kairi Sane

For The NXT Women’s Championship

Since winning The NXT Women’s Championship from Ember Moon at NXT Takeover New Orleans just a few months ago, Shayna Baszler has been a dominating force in the NXT Women’s Divison. In the opposite corner, Kairi Sane is one of the most talented wrestlers in the division.

During the 2017 Mae Young Classic, Baszler and Sane faced off in the finals where Sane picked up the victory. With a history at hand, Shayna Baszler will get redemption in the upcoming event.

The Undisputed Era (c) vs. Moustache Mountain

For The NXT Tag Team Championship

Over the past few months, both of these tag teams have been fighting over the NXT Tag Team Championship. Since joining the Undisputed Era, Roderick Strong has been a valuable addition to the stable. Although I am a big fan of the Undisputed ERA and their title reign, the WWE seems to have big plans for Seven and Bate, and having a title run would go a long way in making them a successful tag team in NXT.

Prediction: Moustache Mountain

Velveteen Dream vs. EC3

Since making his return to the WWE, EC3 has been making his mark in his second run in the company. The WWE seems to have big plans for EC3, and getting a victory over Velveteen Dream could emerge as a step in the right direction.
