WWE Hell in a Cell Preview

On Sunday, the WWE will put on what seems to be their last Pay-Per-View event in the ThunderDome before they return to live crowds. We will witness two Hell in a Cell matchups, along with three championship bouts. The show is scheduled to start at 7pm EST with the preshow beginning at 6pm EST. Here, we take a look at the scheduled matches and what to expect:

Last Chance Hell in a Cell Match for the WWE Championship: Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Drew McIntyre

What seems to be the final match in the feud is a crucial one for Lashley and McIntyre, as they battle it out inside the cell. It will mark Lashley’s first cell match of his career, while it will be McIntyre’s second appearance. McIntyre failed to win back the championship at WrestleMania, and then fell short once again in a triple threat match against Lashley and Braun Strowman.

Prediction: Bobby Lashley

Hell in a Cell Match for the Smackdown Women’s Championship: Bianca Belair (c) vs. Bayley

This match evolved into a cell match after Roman Reigns and Rey Mysterio had their Hell in a Cell match moved to Smackdown for undisclosed reasons. The ongoing feud hasn’t screamed ‘Hell in a Cell’ worthy, as Belair defeated Bayley at WrestleMania Backlash.

Prediction: Bianca Belair

Cesaro vs. Seth Rollins

With all the personal attacks Rollins has put forward, this appears to be a straightforward singles match worth watching. Cesaro defeated Rollins at WrestleMania, but proceeded to lose his Universal title opportunity against Reigns at WrestleMania Backlash. After the match, Rollins assaulted Cesaro and did the same on the next episode of Smackdown.

Prediction: Seth Rollins

Raw Women’s Championship: Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Charlotte Flair

The Women’s division is somewhat in limbo, as there are only a handful of legitimate contenders on each brand. Ripley faces Charlotte in a singles match for the first time since last year’s WrestleMania, where Ripley lost the NXT Women’s Championship.

Prediction: Charlotte Flair

Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn

There is a lot of history between these Owens and Zayn, as we prepare for the next installment of their rivalry. Owens defeated Zayn at WrestleMania, but Zayn is seeking his revenge. The two have been involved in the Intercontinental Championship picture as of late, as the winner is likely to receive a title opportunity.

Prediction: Kevin Owens

Alexa Bliss vs. Shayna Baszler

This is likely to be the most unorthodox match of the night, as Bliss has taken over the gimmick of the ‘Fiend’. Bliss has had Baszler’s number, as this will emerge as an unpredictable matchup.

Prediction: Alexa Bliss
