WrestleMania 32 Predictions

WrestleMania is upon us once again, many fans are excited to see the outcome of the match between Shane McMahon and the Undertaker. The stadium will be packed with 80,000 plus fans, making it the largest WrestleMania attendance in WWE history. So, I decided to start some debates, and predict the outcomes of each WrestleMania match. Let’s get started. Shall we?

Kickoff Show

Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal

This one can really go anyway, and a lot of fans don’t seem to care much. The main hypes for the match are Big Show and Kane. With this being said, I do see the possibility of letting the Big Show win the Memorial a second time, considering he’s the closest thing to Andre the Giant that the WWE has.

Unless there is a surprise entrance for the match, I’m going to have to go with Big Show by default.

Final Prediction: Big Show

The Usos vs The Dudley Boyz

Unfortunately this is another match that WWE fans have little interest in, due to the lack of build and meaning behind the match. With no title and no stakes on the line, it’s a great thing that this match will be on the preshow.

It’s unfortunate, because the Dudley Boyz are one of the greatest tag teams in the history of pro wrestling and the Usos are a talented tag team. I still believe the WWE would have been better off having a fatal four way tag team title match between the League of Nations, these two teams and the New Day of course.

For this match, I do think the Dudley’s win, as it seems the WWE are building the team back up to aid the authority. So, a win here would definitely improve that cause. On top of that reason, the Usos haven’t been all that hot, and I don’t see them getting the win over the Dudleys at WrestleMania.

Prediction: Dudley Boyz

Divas Tag Match

So, this match is probably the very least relevant of the three pre show matches. So, it’s a good thing this is a preshow match also. This match can really go anyway. However, if this is indeed Brie Bella’s last WrestleMania, I do feel she has a good enough reputation in the WWE to go out with a win.

I don’t see Lana being pinned either, so I would definitely see one of the other divas on her team getting the pin.

Prediction: Brie Bella’s Team

Main Card

AJ Styles vs Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho has done a terrific job providing AJ Styles his first feud in the WWE. Y2J has proven he still has what it takes to be a top  heel in the WWE. With that being said, this feud has been built the classic way.

The classic way, meaning multiple matches until the very at the most opportune moment, WrestleMania. Ending it once and for all, with Chris Jericho taking this match personal. I think Chris Jericho will ultimately put over AJ Styles introducing him to WrestleMania as he did for Fandango. This will be an excellent match just as the previous matches were.

Prediction: AJ Styles

The New Day vs League of Nations

Originally, I was definitely picking the New Day to win this match, because I didn’t think there was anyway that they would be losing the tag title to the League of Nations. Especially when you consider how red hot they have been.

However, with this match now being just a “battle for supremacy”, I do think that the League of Nations will steal this match being that it’s a 4 on 3 match. The New Day should win this match, but I do believe the WWE is holding off on a title match for a reason.

Prediction: League of Nations

US Title Match: Kalisto vs Ryback

So, for this match we have a David vs Goliath type of match. For some reason, this match rings Rey Mysterio vs Batista to me, although it’s nothing really alike storyline wise. With that being said, it seems like the WWE has grown to want to push Ryback more then where he is at now. While, on the other hand Kalisto hasn’t been used super relevantly during his time as the  Champion.

I do feel like the WWE will pull the trigger on putting the belt on Ryback, and letting him man the US title. He’ll likely do it as a heel. I have to go with Ryback for this match.

Prediction: Ryback

Divas Title Match: Charlotte vs Becky Lynch vs Sasha Banks

I do think that this match could’ve had a much better build up. Sasha Banks has been red hot with the WWE universe, and Charlotte is a natural heel. I think Becky Lynch is a solid throw in, when you consider the history between the trio.

However, I also believe that Becky Lynch is in this match to take the pin fall. This way Sasha Banks and/or Charlotte does not look weak. With that being said, I do feel like Sasha Banks has to win this match, and capture the energy from the WWE while they are hot. On the other hand, I feel like the WWE could hold off on it until another pay per view, having Sasha Banks ultimately defeat Charlotte in a one on one match.

Plus, I feel like this would make the WWE universe want Sasha as champion that much more.

Prediction: Charlotte

7 Man Ladder Match For IC Title

I feel like this match was pretty oddly thrown together to be honest,It does provide for an exciting match however. I don’t think anyone is considering Zack Ryder, Stardust, Sin Cara or The Miz to actually win this match. If the Lucha Dragons were an important tag team, it would pretty cool to see a team that includes both mid card championships. Anyways, that’s neither here nor there.

I know a lot of fans are pushing for Sami Zayn to win this match. However, I don’t think that’s what will come out of this match. I don’t think the WWE wanted Sami Zayn to lose a one on one match, and I don’t think they are ready to put the  strap on him yet. So, this is a perfect way to avoid both of those things, without having him look weak.

Dolph Ziggler could be a sleeper to win this match, but I don’t see that happening either. I definitely think Kevin Owens “steals” this match somehow. This will be to the distain to half the fans, but not all. In case you missed Raw, Kevin Owens is over with the crowd. So, I do see the feud between Owens and Sami Zayn carrying on beyond WrestleMania, with the IC title in the picture. So, I go with Kevin Owens just barely winning this match.

Prediction: Kevin Owens

No Holds Barred: Brock Lesnar vs Dean Ambrose

I’m certainly looking forward to this match. The build up has been pretty good, bringing in hardcore legends like Mick Foley and Terry Funk to endorse Dean Ambrose. Some parts are certainly repetitive, like Brock Lesnar beating the crap out of Dean Ambrose every show. So, I think the WWE went with the right approach on having a no contact segment between the two last Monday night.

This is a tough match to predict though. The WWE has been pushing Brock Lesnar as virtually undefeated since he defeated the Undertaker at WrestleMania two years ago. Brock Lesnar has yet to be pinned since that day.

The WWE seems to also be pushing Dean Ambrose, somewhat. For this feud, they’ve done him wonders into trying to make him the next Mick Foley. I do however feel like Brock Lesnar continues his dominance and defeats Dean Ambrose, but this will be an all out war.

Winner: Brock Lesnar

Power vs Legacy: Shane McMahon vs The Undertaker

This is easily the match that fans are eager to see how it all plays out. Obviously having Shane McMahon in “control” of Monday Night Raw is something that fans would love to see. However, the fans would also hate to see the Undertaker’s career end with a lost, especially at WrestleMania, where he would suffer his second lost.

However, at this point, I don’t really think it matter. The Undertaker’s streak will always be highlighted at the greatest streak in WrestleMania history. He will always have the greatest record at WrestleMania, and that legacy will never be taken down.

With that being said, the man also just turned 51 years old. He’s been wrestling for over 20 years, and his career is bound to end soon. So, I do see Shane McMahon winning this one with a huge spot. I certainly don’t see him beating the Undertaker cleanly.

Besides, the deal is that this match would be the Undertaker’s last WrestleMania. That doesn’t mean he couldn’t wrestle one more match at a pay per view like Summerslam to end his legendary career the right way. That would be a win of course.

Prediction: Shane McMahon

WWE Championship Match: Roman Reigns vs HHH

This match has a done of variables to consider. What if Shane McMahon defeats the Undertaker, and Triple H defeats Roman Reigns. Does this mean Triple H would then be an active competitor under Shane McMahon, as opposed to quitting the WWE like Vince McMahon stating on Raw a couple of weeks ago.

With that being said, it would make sense for Roman Reigns to win this match storyline wise. I think the strongest thing to consider here, is the fact that the fans are in the way of Roman Reigns winning this match more then anyone. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to realize that Roman Reigns has gotten booed ever since he has returned from injury.

Could Roman Reigns win this match, only to eventually turn heel down the road? I certainly think so. Roman Reigns has gotten the Cena treatment from both the fans, and creative. The thing that Roman Reigns has on his side, is time. He’s not a terrible worker in the ring. He could certainly using some tuning up on the mic, but Roman Reigns could save himself to be a face of the company one day.

I think you have to start with a run as a heel, especially with Seth Rollins coming back. Rollins will likely be a face, and I predict he will be Daniel Bryan all over again. The crowd is going to boo Roman Reigns in the presence of Seth Rollins anyway. So, why not do it the right way? I feel like Roman could capture the WWE Universe with a bad ass heel run, similar to Brock Lesnar. So, with all this to consider, the WWE’s project is Roman Reigns. I do see Roman taking this match, to get the WWE title out of the mix of the Authority/Shane McMahon angle.

Prediction: Roman Reigns

When you consider all of the injury losses that the WWE has suffered, this WrestleMania shouldn’t be too bad. There are plenty of stakes and storylines that we will get to watch play out. We’ll see legends like The Rock, Stone Cold and HBK. Do you agree with these predictions? If not, how differently would you list yours?
