On Friday, it was reported by multiple sources that Kansas City Chiefs’ Tyreek Hill would go without discipline regarding previous child abuse allegations. According to Adam Schefter, Hill is now free to attend training camp, practice, and play in the upcoming season.
No one can deny the talent and athleticism that Hill brings to the football field. The 25-year old once clocked in at 4.21 seconds for a 40-yard dash. With back-to-back 1,000+ receiving yard seasons dating back to 2017, Hill has been a major factor in the success of the Chiefs franchise.
As a result of the conclusion of the case, Tyreek Hill released a statement of his own:
Hill is a free agent at the end of the 2019 season, as he is owed roughly $2M on his current contract. This begs the question: Is he worth it?
Currently, The Athletes Hub is polling whether the NFL made the right call in regards to not punishing Tyreek Hill. What are your thoughts?
