As reported, UFC’s Sean O’Malley has been pulled out of the UFC 229 card due to a USADA violation. O’Malley announced it Sunday night on an Instagram post where he claims that this is a huge misunderstanding and it could be due to a tainted supplement that he used during his camp. Due to that supposed supplement, he is off the preliminary card where he was scheduled to fight Jose Alberto Quinonez.

The UFC announced that it wasn’t going to be announcing any violations from USADA about their fighters, but O’Malley, who is a rising star in MMA, decided to announce it himself.

Sean O’Malley, who is undefeated with a ten-fight winning streak, made his name known when he got his shot on Dana White’s Contender Series and impressed everyone with a knockout win over Alfred Khashakyan. He has all the star power to be special in the UFC, but hopefully he can avoid any long-term suspensions.
