With UFC 228 taking place on September 8th, the main event of Tyron Woodley and Darren Till is sure to draw in attention. That being said, here are predictions regarding the entire card for Saturday night:

Abdul Razak Alhassan (9-1) vs Niko Price (12-1)

Two young featherweights are going to start the main card off with both riding a two-fight win streak via finish. It is going to be worth seeing who has more heart going into this fight. Abdul Razak Alhassan has power, with nine of his ten fights ending by knockout, while Niko Price is a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, where three of his victories have ended through submission.

Prediction: Abdul Razak Alhassan by TKO

Jessica Andrade (18-6) vs Karolina Kowalkiewicz (12-2)

This is the fight these women need to set up a potential contender for the women’s Strawweight Championship that is currently held by Rose Namajunas. Jessica Andrade and Karolina Kowalkiewicz are both riding a two-fight win streak consisting of decision wins. This fight will be difficult to judge from the possibility of a finish or decision.

Prediction: Karolina Kowalkiewicz by Unanimous Decision

Zabit Magomedsharipov (15-1) vs Brandon Davis (9-4)

Zabit Magomedsharipov is the cousin of current Lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, and resembles him in several ways. It is scary to deal with someone who can deal out a lot of damage with his strikes, but dominate with his grappling and wrestling as well. In the other corner, Brandon Davis is going to do whatever it takes to avoid takedowns. This is the classic grapple versus strike fight that we love to see.

Prediction: Zabit Magomedsharipov by Unanimous Decision

Tyron Woodley (18-3-1) vs Darren Till (17-0-1)

The main event for UFC 228 is finally among us when UFC Welterweight champion Tyron Woodley defends his strap against the undefeated Darren Till. Woodley hasn’t been the most exciting fighter since capturing the title, but he has done what is needed to get his hand raised. With wins over Robbie Lawler, Stephen Thompson and Demian Maia, there is no doubt that Woodley has a stranglehold over this division.

As for Till, he holds an undefeated record of seventeen wins with no losses and one majority draw. His victories include names such as Donald Cerrone and Stephen Thompson, which has helped him prove why he belongs in this spot. In fact, the only aspect holding Till back is the weight scale.

Prediction: Darren Till by Unanimous Decision
