Top 5 WWE Stars Who Could Be The Face of Their Brand

This morning, Smackdown took a great turn for what should improve the show 100% from what it has been in YEARS. Smackdown will now be running live on Tuesday’s beginning, starting July 19th. This news was good enough.
Smackdown will be complimented this change with more relevancy then they’ve had in years. The brand split is FINALLY returning to the WWE. It certainly couldn’t have come at a better time. The WWE roster is deep with new and old talent. So much so, that the roster has been crowded and getting superstars relevant TV time is a challenge.
I decided to make a short list of superstars who could become the face of either Smackdown or Raw. I decided not to include Roman Reigns and John Cena, as I think those are two obvious choices. For better or worse, that may be the plan that the WWE is going forward with.
However, for the sake of argument and favor for a great portion of the WWE universe, let’s dream up 5 other stars who could be a face of their brand. Shall we begin?
5. Cesaro
Cesaro is one of the most popular WWE stars in the business right now. I don’t think he will be a face of the company, as he seems like a sure fire mid carder for his career. It’s possible that Cesaro will pop in and out of the main event scene.
However, he’s easily one of the better all around wrestlers in the WWE. He has some solid mic skills and is over with the WWE universe and could potentially thrive as a face of his brand.
4. Bray Wyatt
Bray Wyatt is the face of his brand, may be a stretch for some. He’s been a heel during his entire WWE tenure, though he teased a face turn before he went down with an injury after WrestleMania.
However, Bray Wyatt could certainly carry a brand if given the challenge. He’s got ring ability, charisma and he holds a presence in the ring. Not to mention he’s been well over with the WWE universe in general.
3. Dean Ambrose
Dean Ambrose is certainly a fan favorite and a guy that a lot of people would prefer as the face of the company OVER Roman Reigns. Though, this one may be a dreamer as the WWE doesn’t seem sold on Dean Ambrose.
He seems like a guy that the WWE will let pop in and out of the main event picture, while keeping him relevant in the upper to mid card. That’s not a terrible spot to be in, but Dean Ambrose could be capable of carrying a brand on his back and being the main guy on the show.
2. AJ Styles
AJ Styles has to be one of the favorites to lead his brand by default. AJ Styles carried TNA on his back for years, so he’s definitely got the ability to carry a brand on his back. He’s an established star and all around a fan favorite, and could do a show justice by being the main focus point.
*HONORABLE MENTION- Kevin Owens
I would’ve honest put Kevin Owens at number 2 on this list, if I didn’t think he was TOO great as a heel. I think Kevin Owens will easily lock up the number one heel spot on his show if given the opportunity.
His walk, attitude and in ring style is absolutely awesome. He certainly COULD make a face of the company, but I think he’s best served as the number one heel of the brand that he is on.
1. Seth Rollins
Though Seth Rollins is clearly a heel as of now and a very good one at that, but he truly has all the makings of being a face of a company, let alone a brand. His move set is an easy one to get excited and to support if your the WWE universe. The mix of high flying ability along with technical style is something that few could ever match.
He has some decent mic skills and is someone that the WWE universe really WANTS to cheer. It will be interesting to see what the WWE decides to do with Seth Rollins on whatever show he takes his talents too.
