Daniel Bryan has been extraordinary throughout his time in the WWE. With multiple championship wins under his belt, here are the five greatest championship victories of Bryan:

#5: WWE Championship

Back in 2013, superstar John Cena, the-then WWE Champion at the time, got to choose his opponent for SummerSlam. With that, Cena elected to choose none other than Daniel Bryan. Leading up to their fight, it was announced that Triple H was announced to be the special guest referee.

When SummerSlam came about, both Cena and Bryan put on a must-watch event. At the end, it would be Daniel Bryan coming away with the victory. However, moments later, the theme music of Randy Orton came about, making it seem as though he was going to cash in his Money In The Bank contract. We then witnessed Triple H ambush Bryan in order to hand Orton the title, which then resulted in his worst championship victory of Bryan’s career.

#4: Tag Team Championship with Kane

Back in 2012, both Kane and Daniel Bryan teamed up and would be later named “Team Hell No”. They went onto win a Number One Contenders match for a shot at the WWE Tag Team Championships, as they defeated the Prime Time Players on an episode of RAW. When Night of Champions came around, it was Team Hell No facing off against the duo of Kofi Kingston and R-Truth.

The match was difficult to watch at some points, as it would go on to last over eight minutes of air time. Kane and Bryan went on to become victorious, and even held the titles for 245 days before losing to The Shield at Extreme Rules in 2013.

#3 Intercontinental Championship

After losing to Roman Reigns at Fastlane 2015 for the right to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 31, Bryan found himself initially sidelined at the PPV event. As WrestleMania 31 was approaching, Bryan decided to be part of the Intercontinental Championship Ladder match, which included the likes of Dean Ambrose, Dolph Ziggler, Luke Harper, R-Truth, and Stardust. The match contained loads of action at its finest.

Bryan pulled out the victory after knocking Ziggler off of the ladder. Bryan then held onto the Intercontinental Championship for 43 days before being forced to vacate the title due to injury.

#2: United States Championship

Bryan, who had recently returned to WWE at SummerSlam in 2010, happened to be eliminated in his bout against The Miz. This then resulted in The Miz and Bryan creating a feud for the United States Championship. After Daniel Bryan won and held onto the United States Championship for a solid 176 days, he ultimately lost to Sheamus on an episode of Raw.

#1: World Heavyweight Championship

After a match between the Big Show and Mark Henry at TLC 2011 took place, Daniel Bryan went on to shock the WWE universe. Moments after the matchup, Bryan ran down to the ring with referee Scott Armstrong and immediately fought and defeated the Big Show. Bryan went onto face multiple great wrestlers in WWE as World Heavyweight Champion. Overall, this had to be his best reign for Bryan, as he held it for a total of 105 days.
