This offseason, the first day of NBA free agency has been an eventful one. The Suns, Celtics and Thunder have all added key role players to their rosters.
Phoenix signed veteran center Tyson Chandler to a four year, $52 million deal. The former Defensive Player of the Year averaged 10 points and 12 rebounds a game last season with the Dallas Mavericks, and will bring his trademark toughness and defense, as well as veteran leadership, to this young Suns team.

Per 26.4 minutes a game, Johnson averaged 9.4 points and 6.1 rebounds last season with the Toronto Raptors. The versatile forward also shot 57.4% from the field and 41.3% from beyond the arc last year. He will work well within Brad Stevens’ positionless offense, where he will provided solid production in the post, as well as giving the Celtics the ability to stretch the floor.

The 27 year old was drafted 33rd by the Detroit Pistons in 2011, but after being dealt to the Thunder in a three-team trade last season, Singler averaged just 3.7 points on 33% shooting in his 18 starts for the Thunder. However, he did shoot 37% from 3-point range, which may be why Thunder GM Sam Presti choose to bring him back.
