Another weekend of NFL action is upon us. I have started the year off a little slow on my predictions at 2-4, but hopefully this week we can get our first clean sweep.
Bengals Winless Past Week 3 Following Loss to Jets
The Cincinnati Bengals have not gotten off to the start they needed this season, especially the offensive line. The New York Jets seem to be a team that will fight through all four quarters, regardless of the team they play. Just last season, the Jets beat the Bengals last season in a regular season upset. Joe Flacco has looked in command of the offense which has potential weapons in Garrett Wilson, Breece Hall, Corey Davis, Elijah Moore, and Michael Carter.
Garoppolo Leads 49ers Into Mile High & Picks Up Win
After losing second-year quarterback Trey Lance for the year with a broken ankle, the San Francisco 49ers have turned to veteran Jimmy Garoppolo. Since joining the 49ers, he has played in two NFC title games and one Super Bowl. The Denver Broncos are a struggling 1-1 team right following a loss to Seattle in Week 1 and barley beating Houston in Week 2. This will the toughest opponent for the Broncos to this point.
Giants Move to 3-0 for the First Time Since 2009
The New York Giants are a surprising 2-0 under Head Coach Brian Daboll and they roll into Monday night against a Cooper Rush-led Dallas Cowboys team that is fresh off a big upset over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 2. The Giants defense has looked solid to this point, while we have seen Dallas offense struggle to find consistency. If Saquon Barkley plays well and the pass-rush can get to Rush, the Cowboys may be in for a rough night.
