The Decision III: LeBron Joins The Lakers

After opting out of his deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday June 29th, LeBron James has made the decision to move to Los Angeles with the Lakers. After being swept by the Golden State Warriors in the recent NBA Finals, the MVP finalist looked for greener pastures outside of Cleveland.
James for the first time in his career will be playing against the superior Western conference. It will be a new look for him not having to go through the critically acclaimed “Cupcake East”, and James will surely have a more difficult time making it to his seventh straight NBA Finals.
The next order of business involves restricted agent Julius Randle, who has the potential to be a hot commodity over the next few days. If Los Angeles retains Randle at a certain price, the team could very well pursue another big name free agent this year such as DeMarcus Cousins.
