What happens to a player that dominates a league for an entire year, wins MVP honors and leads his team to a NBA Title? Well, you sign a contract extension with a brand name sports apparel company.

Espn reports that Under Armour has come to an agreement with Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry on a contract extension that will keep him as the face of the Maryland based company through 2024. The rich gets richer as they say?

Curry undoubtedly captivated the world of basketball last season with dominating and clutch performances, all while leading the league’s best team to a NBA Championship.

The terms of the deal have not been disclosed, but it’s safe to say that it will be a bigger deal then what Houston Rockets James Harden received. Harden, who arguably was the second best player last season, just signed a 13-year, $200 million dollar deal with Adidas.

If we going by the market and where it is now, Curry’s deal should be far more than what Harden just signed for in August.

Under Armour’s list of sponsored athletes is quite impressive. The list includes, Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, Tom Brady, Lindsay Vonn, Jordan Spieth, and Bryce Harper to go along with Steph Curry. Founded in 1996, it’s one of the biggest sports clothing and accessory companies in the world.

Steph Curry’s amazing 2015 run continues, as he and the Warriors get ready to defend the crown this upcoming season. All is good in Curry’s world, as he is in the peak of his career.
