Stanley Cup Game 4 Recap
Game four went underway on Wednesday night, as the Blackhawks’ trailed the Lightning 2-1 in the series. The Blackhawks’ needed this victory at home in order to tie the series at two a piece, but the Lightning would look to take the 3-1 advantage.
After a scoreless first period, it was fair to say that this game, like all others, would be down to the wire. At the 6:40 mark, Blackhawks’ Jonathan Toews would get the team on the board and ahead 1-0. The goal would be shortly followed just five minutes later by Lightning player Alex Killhorn.
With the game tied at 1-1, it was down to the wire yet again, like predictions, until franchise star Patrick Kane ended up scoring a goal 6:22 into the period. This would ultimately lead to a Blackhawks victory as they tie the series 2-2.
What will future games have in store for fans across the nation? Who knows.
