Should Tiger Woods Call it Quits?

According to sources, Woods has pulled out of the PGA championship. It has been 11 months since Woods has last competed within a tournament. Just a few months prior to this announcement, Woods wrote his fan base a letter in which he stated he felt a lot better.
“I am starting to feel a lot better. I have been chipping and putting at home, and recently started hitting 9 irons. That’s been so nice.”
Not only does Woods intend to not participate in this PGA Championship, but according to his agent, he may even sit out for the rest of 2016.
Woods currently is ranked 628th in the world when it comes to golf, and it was only a few years ago when he was named #1. With all this news coming up, is it time to call it quits?
Woods will be turning 41 in December, so time is obviously not on his side. There are golfers that can compete into their 50’s or even 60’s in some cases, but Woods’ health is a real concern.
My take is that Woods is hungry for one more event win so he can leave on top, but the problem is that there are so many other golfers better than him today. I don’t think Woods could pull out a victory, and I think his days are limited on the golf course.
