Over the weekend, a social media post by Shedeur Sanders indicated he spent time working out with Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ quarterback Tom Brady. Sanders, a four-star recruit, is the son of the infamous Deion Sanders.

At this time, Sanders has over 20 college offers from various schools across the country. Some of the highlighted schools include Alabama, Baylor, Florida State, and LSU.

Entering his senior season at Trinity Christian High School in Cedar Hill, Texas, Sanders has totaled 8,925 passing yards, 123 touchdowns, and just 19 interceptions across the previous three seasons. As a result, he ranks as #41 on ESPN’s Top 300. Sanders is projected 10th among quaterbacks on the same list.

Sanders is listed at 6’2″, and at the current rate, he is expected to pass iconic Texas high school quarterbacks Colt McCoy and Kyler Murray in career passing yards. In addition, he could very well enter the top five all-time in career passing touchdowns.

The Trinity Christian Tigers have won 39 of their last 41 games across three seasons, and have won three consecutive TAPPS Division II State Championships.

Considering the heavy recruitment of Florida State, as well as the fact that his father attended the University, it’s only a matter of time before Shedeur Sanders continues onto the next step of his journey.
