The Sedin Twins, Henrik and Daniel, have announced that this season will be their last in the NHL. The two have played 17 seasons, all with the Vancouver Canucks. The Canucks selected the two second (Daniel) and third (Henrik) overall in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft.

The duo were known for their ability to play off of each other. Henrik was the playmaker while Daniel scored the goals. Henrik, a two time all star, amassed 1068 points in 1327 career games and currently has three goals and 48 points on the season. Daniel, also a two time all star, has 1038 points in 1303 games while tallying 21 goals and 52 points this season.

The duo helped lead the Canucks to their first Stanley Cup Finals appearance since 1994, losing in seven to the Boston Bruins.
