Clady Tears ACL, Harris Steps In

On Thursday, the Broncos Offensive Lineman Ryan Clady tore his ACL. This creates an imense impact an already shaky offensive line for the Denver Broncos. Broncos aging quarterback, Peyton Manning, will have to hold his own behind this makeshift O-Line. Could this lead to a major injury for him in the future?
Not only will Manning and the passing game be impacted, but the run game will struggle as well. Last year, the Broncos starting running back, Montee Ball, flopped. After an injury to Ball, Ronnie Hillman was forced to step in and make an immediate impact. Two weeks later, Hillman suffered an injury.
This forced third string running back, CJ Anderson, going from number three to number one on the depth chart, to explode and become one of the best running backs in the AFC. A third string running back behind a weak line will most likely be ineffective overtime.
This isn’t the only ACL tear the team has suffered this year. In the second day of rookie minicamp, third round tight end, Jeffer Heuerman, also suffered a torn ACL. These major injuries will make a major negative impact for the Denver Broncos this season.
In order to solve this problem, it has become known that the Broncos chose to resign Ryan Harris, who previously played for Denver. Will Harris be able to step into a starting role once again? Age and injuries tell us this won’t be the last we hear of the Broncos.
