After their first fight ended in a no contest, Yair Rodriguez and Jeremy Stephens will be facing off in a rematch on October 18th for UFC Fight Night in Boston.
The pair were met with plenty of boos from the crowd after their first encounter. Only 15 seconds into the first round, an eye poke from Rodriguez to Stephens ended the bout prematurely. As the trash talk followed, it was only right to see a rematch scheduled.
In November, Rodriguez defeated Chan Sung Jung in a buzzer-beater knockout. As for Stephens, he’s running on a two-fight losing streak.
