After leading the Washington Redskins to a record of 0-5, the Jay Gruden era is over. On Monday, Washington announced that they have fired Gruden after six seasons with the team.
During his tenure, Gruden had a record of 35-49-1 with only one playoff appearance. Outside of 2015, the Redskins have never finished higher than 3rd in the NFC East under Gruden.
