Rasheed Sulaimon finds a new home

Rasheed Sulaimon has announced his decision to transfer to Maryland via Twitter.
His tweets can be seen here:
(@sheed_ctmd1: With that being said, I am blessed & honored for the opportunity to continue my dreams at the university of Maryland! 🐢🐢🐢🏀🏀🏀)
(@sheed_ctmd1: Excited for he opportunity to be a part of something special and bigger than myself!!!! Hello #TerpsNation!)
This is a great addition for the Terps as Sulaimon is expected to start along side an impressive line up including: Melo Trimble, Diamond Stone, Jake Layman, and Robert Carter. This team is stocked with talent poised for a late March run after national star, Dez Wells graduated. Sulaimon averaged 7.5 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists, last year at Duke before being kicked off the team due to “not meeting the expectation and team standards” while playing for the Blue Devils Coach K stated. Rumors have surfaced of Rasheed committing sexual assault while at Duke. He has fully denied all of these rumors. Mark Turgeon actually recruited Sulaimon heavily while he was at Texas A&M as Sulaimon is from the Houston area. Coincidence? Regardless, Mark Turgeon and his staff fully believe in Sulaimon’s ability on and off the court. This is a bold move that should pay off for the Terps this year. Expect the University of Maryland Terraphins to be title contenders this year.
