Raiders, Seahawks Agree on Terms for Lynch

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo, Marshawn Lynch intends to join the Oakland Raiders on a one-year deal, pending a physical. While he technically was still under contract with the Seahawks, the two franchises agreed on a late-round 2018 draft pick, in exchange for Lynch’s services.
The deal will reportedly be worth a maximum of $8.5 million for the upcoming season, as long as Lynch achieves all of his incentives. The base salary will be $3 million, and according to sources, Lynch could be eligible to receive “$2 million or more” for surpassing 1,000 rushing yards.
The 31-year old will be yet another piece to prove why the Raiders offense is one of the most complete in the NFL. With Carr, Cooper, and Lynch, this is already a team that can contend in the AFC on paper.
