Possible indie signings for World Wrestling Entertainment in 2017?

Everyone has their favorite indie star, whether it being a local talent or world known, but the possibilities of more indie signings for World Wrestling Entertainment(WWE) are looking high.
With the Cruiserweight division on the rise and signings of Rich Swann, T.J Perkins, Noam Dar, Brian Kendrick, Cedric Alexander, Gran Metalik, and Lince Dorado, along with the confirmation of the moving up of Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa, WWE is going to be in need of more talent for both Monday Night RAW and the WWE Network special, NXT. It has been rumored that Paul Michael Levesque, or known to pro-wrestling fans as Triple H, has plans to contact many indie talents through out 2017 that he has noticed throughout 2016.
Talents such as 2016 G1 Climax winner Kenny Omega, Cruiserweight Classic semi-finalist Zack Sabre Jr, Cruiserweight Classic semi-finalist Kota Ibushi. With three world class signings like that, the possibilities are endless for WWE. Three years ago if someone would have told you that Kevin Steen, AJ Styles, and Shinsuke Nakamura would hold the “world titles” of their respected brands in WWE, you’d have thought they were crazy, but here we are.
There are many talented and possible future WWE superstars and champions surfing the indies right now, like the first ever Ring Of Honor World Heavyweight and Television champion and third ever Ring Of Honor triple crown winner Jay Lethal, Best Of The Super Juniors 2016 winner and #16 in Pro Wrestling Illustrated‘s top 500 singles wrestlers in the world Will Ospreay, and #15 in Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s top 500 singles wrestlers in the world Ricochet.
The future and exposure of independent wrestling is at an all time high and WWE is capitalizing on it. Expect to see more Ring Of Honor, PROGRESS, Pro Wrestling Guerilla, and New Japan Pro Wrestling stars making the jump to WWE within in the next few years. The indies era is upon us and it’s looking great!
