Nunes-Cyborg In Works for UFC 228

As reported, the UFC is close to having Women’s Featherweight champion, Cris Cyborg, take on the Women’s Bantamweight champion, Amanda Nunes on December 29th at UFC 228.
Both women have teased the MMA world about this fight one day happening, but whenever it was close to it being booked, it would be ultimately postponed.
The last time Cyborg has entered the octagon was against Yana Kunitskaya at UFC 222 on March 3, 2018. In result, Cyborg dominated most of the bout, and ended it within the first round via TKO. After single-handily dominating the Featherweight division, Nunes will now be forced to go up against a force in Nunes.
Nunes is viewed as one of the most underrated fighters in MMA today. In her last four fights, she only let Valentina Shevchenko go the distance. On the other hand, Miesha Tate, Ronda Rousey and Raquel Pennington have all been finished by Nunes, as she has been able to showcase her power with remote ease.
They say that everything is bigger in Texas, and UFC 228 should follow suit. With two of the best women in the history of the industry going head-to-head, this will be a PPV worth watching.
