Diaz was once known as a possible future UFC champion after his stint in Strikeforce, where he won their Welterweight title until the company was bought out by the UFC.
Diaz has wins over fighters such as Chris Lytle, Robbie Lawler, KJ Noons, Takanori Gomi, Frank Shamrock, Paul Daley and B.J. Penn. Despite never being able to hold any gold in the UFC, Diaz is considered to be one of the best MMA fighters inside of the UFC.
