As we inch closer towards the end of the season, we are starting to see which rookies are going to stay at the top of the food chain, as well as the ones that will ultimately fizzle out.
Honorable Mentions: Arizona Cardinals WR Rondale Moore (11 catches, 51 yards), Pittsburgh Steelers CB Tre Norwood (7 tackles), Los Angeles Chargers CB Asante Samuel Jr (7 tackles).
3. DE Jaelan Philips, Miami Dolphins
Philips has had a rather quiet season, but is finally starting to come around and make some plays for the Dolphins with a solid game this past Sunday. He finished with three tackles and a sack in the winning effort against the New York Jets. Hopefully he can maintain his current level of play for the remainder of the season.
2. DE/LB Micah Parsons, Dallas Cowboys
Parsons is starting to become a regular on this segment, as he furthers his case for Defensive Rookie of the Year. Despite the loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, Parsons totaled four tackles and two sacks. He will face a quick turnaround as the Cowboys take on the Las Vegas Raiders on Thanksgiving day.
1. WR Elijah Moore, New York Jets
Moore finished with a breakout game this past weekend, logging eight receptions for 141 yards and a touchdown. While the Jets ultimately lost, Moore is beginning to show signs of becoming a top receiver in this respective rookie class.
