NFL Mock Draft (Picks #1-5)

With only a limited amount of time before the 2016 NFL Draft, each respected franchise will hope to walk away from it with young and talanted prospects. That being said, here are who I see each of the top 5 teams potentially taking as of right now:

1. Tennessee Titans Select: Laremy Tunsil (OT, Ole Miss)

Tunsil is without a doubt one of the highest rated prospects coming into this draft. If the Titans don’t select him, then I believe that will be because they trade down from the #1 pick. Tunsil is limiting himself during the combine, but what he has shown so far has been superb.

2. Cleveland Browns Select: Jared Goff (QB, California)

This just makes perfect sense. Head Coach of the Browns Hue Jackson used to be an assistant over at California. Goff has a lot of talent, and I would personally take Goff over any other quarterback in this upcoming draft. All people seem to criticize when it comes to Goff is his hand size rather than the way he plays the game. Expect for the Browns to go ahead and give the nod to Goff with the #2 overall pick this year.

3. San Diego Chargers Select: Jalen Ramsey (CB, Florida State)

With Eric Weddle leaving San Diego, Jalen Ramsey suddenly seems like the perfect replacement. Deion Sanders was the last Florida State native to start as a freshman back in 1985, and Ramsey looks to follow in those footsteps. Scouts and GM’s are currently unsure if Ramsey is worth a high pick, but I expect the Chargers to play it safe.

4. Dallas Cowboys Select: Joey Bosa (DE, Ohio State)

With Greg Hardy unlikely to return, and Randy Gregory suspended the first four regular season games, Bosa seems like the perfect piece to the puzzle. He is quick as well as strong, and a little more pressure on the quarterback is just what the Cowboys are looking for. Bosa is one of the safest picks in this years draft, and I expect the Cowboys to either take Bosa, or possibly trade down.

5. Jacksonville Jaguars Select: DeForest Buckner (DE, Oregon)

With Dante Fowler Jr coming back from an injury, the Jaguars have a real chance at improvement. They were already solid against the run last season, but why not take Buckner? There is no other option at #5 in my eyes when it comes to a defensive back, so you might as well go with the best available player on the board. The Jaguars are a wild card pick, and they really could go any route at #5.
