NBA Finals Game 3 Recap
With the series tied 1-1, the Golden State Warriors walked into the Quicken Loans Arena well aware that in order to win the NBA Finals this year they are now going to have to steal a game on the road. However LeBron James and company had vey different plans. The Cavs got off to a quick start and never looked back; they even had a 20 point lead at one point in the 3rd quarter. But the relentless warriors fought back hard to make it a competitive finish, Stephen Curry had 27 despite getting off to a treacherous start with only 3 points mid-way through the third, but they could never really gain back control of the game and the Cavs pulled out the victory by a slim margin of 4. Lebron ended with 40 points, 12 rebounds, and 8 assists. Although it seems he was not even the biggest story of the night for the Cavs, as Matthew Dellavadova had 20 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and played good defense all night, really providing the Cavs with a much needed spark plug with Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love out for the series. Delly and the rest of the Cavs role players have stepped up in a group effort to lessen the load on James and they seem to be doing a fine job with the Cavs, who coming into the series were most definitely the underdogs, are now up 2-1.
