November 10th, 2016

• RUMOR: The San Francisco Giants have met with the representatives of closers Aroldis Chapman, Mark Melancon, and Kenley Jansen.
• RUMOR: According to comments made by New York Yankees GM Brian Cashman, a trade of C/DH Brian McCann is not imminent.
• RUMOR: Multiple teams showed interest in Minnesota Twins 2B Brian Dozier during this week’s General Manager meetings.
• RUMOR: The Detroit Tigers are receiving interest in 2B Ian Kinsler, as expected, but also pitchers Anibal Sanchez and Mike Pelfrey.
• RUMOR: Teams have called the Arizona Diamondbacks on Paul Goldschmidt but he’s going no where.

• RUMOR: The catchers market is heating up, and top tier C Jason Castro has three offers from American League teams.
• RUMOR: The Toronto Blue Jays are interested in OF Josh Reddick, however, they won’t decide whether or not to pursue him until they know Jose Bautista’s offical answer to their qualifying offer.
• SIGNING: The Toronto Blue Jays have signed INF Lourdes Gurriel Jr. to a seven year, $22M deal.
• RUMOR: The New York Yankees are willing to eat some of Brian McCann’s remaining $34M but would require multiple top prospects to do so.

• RUMOR: The New York Mets would like to re-sign LHP Jerry Blevins and add another LHP to their bullpen.

November 16th

• SIGNING: The Houston Astros have signed RHP Charlie Morton to a two year, $14M deal.
• RUMOR: The Detroit Tigers and Los Angeles Dodgers have talked a trade around 2B Ian Kinsler. The Tigers are said to have interest in Dodgers #1 Prospect Cody Bellinger.

November 17th

• RUMOR: The SPs trade market has been “intense” during the last 24-48 hours.
• TRADE: The Houston Astros have acquired C/DH Brian McCann from the New York Yankees for RHPs Albert Abreu and Jorge Guzman.
• SIGNING: The Houston Astros have signed OF Josh Reddick to a four year, $52M deal.

November 18

• RUMOR: Multiple teams inquiring about RHP Junior Guerra of the Milwaukee Brewers.
• RUMOR: The Texas Rangers are nearing an agreement with RHP Andrew Cashner.
• SIGNING: The Texas Rangers have signed RHP Andrew Cashner to a one year, $10M deal.

• RUMOR: The Minnesota Twins are not looking to attach the contract of RHP Phil Hughes to any trade involving 2B Brian Doizer.
• RUMOR: Many teams view Jason Castro as Plan A and Nick Hundley as Plan B when it comes to catchers, except the Baltimore Orioles, who view Hundley as Plan A. Castro has multiple three year offers on the table.

November 22

• SIGNING: The Minnesota Twins have signed C Jason Castro to a three year, $24.5M deal.

November 23

• RUMOR: The Seattle Mariners are on the verge of a multi player trade with an unknown team. That team is believed to be the Arizona Diamondbacks but it has not been confirmed.
• TRADE: The Arizona Diamondbacks acquire RHP Taijuan Walker and SS Ketel Marte from the Seattle Mariners for 2B Jean Segura, CF Mitch Hanigar, and LHP Zac Curtis.

November 24

• SIGNING: The Atlanta Braves have signed INF Sean Rodriguez to a two year, $11. 5M deal.

November 25

• RUMOR: The Minnesota Twins are telling teams that they are not looking to deal 2B Brian Dozier unless they receive an excellent return.
