Since being hired as the manager the New York Mets in 2017, Mickey Callaway has been nothing but a disappointment but Callaway tender with the team is about to end. On Thursday, the New York Mets announced they have fired Mickey Callaway.
During his tenure, Callaway went 163-161 not making the playoffs and finishing no worse than 3rd place in the National League East. Despite the team going on a hot streak in the middle of the season, firing Callaway was the right move to make.
