After months of contract disputes, Los Angeles Chargers Melvin Gordon has ended his holdout into the 2019 season. On Wednesday, Ian Rapoport reported that Gordon will report to the team’s facility Thursday and both sides are negotiating a new contract.
In 12 games last season, Gordon rushed for 885 yards and 10 TD on 175 attempts. During his fifth-year option, he was owed $5.6M. With Gordon reporting to the team, this adds a new dynamic to the Chargers backfield.
