Mario Chalmers Traded To Memphis Grizzlies

The Miami Heat have traded Mario Chalmers to the Memphis Grizzlies for Guard Beno Uriha, Jarnell Stokes and a second-round draft pick. The teams swap backup point guards, but it’s much more clear what Miami gains: Money. The Heat trim their projected expenditures by $7,985,756* ($2,129,535 in payroll and $5,856,221 in luxury tax),
The Memphis Grizzlies have definitely come away as the winners in this trade. Mario Charmers is one of the better Point Guards in the league. The Grizzlies got him for basically nothing, and the only problem is Chalmers’ contract. It is up at the end of the year, so Memphis has to decide whether or not to resign him before the end of the year comes. But this move makes the Memphis Grizzlies better and you can see them as a bigger playoff threat in the Eastern Conference .
