Over the last two weeks, the Kansas City Chiefs have suffered back-to-back losses. On Thursday against the Denver Broncos, matters got even worse. After a QB sneak by Patrick Mahomes, he suffered a knee injury that took him out for the remainder of the game.
While there was initial fear of an ACL injury, there doesn’t appear to be any ligament damage. According to Andrew Siciliano, Mahomes was hardly limping after the injury.
Per Dr. Mark Adickes, the injury is being diagnosed as a patella dislocation. As a result, he will miss a few weeks but could avoid surgery.
Over the next four weeks, Kansas City has to play Green Bay, Minnesota, Tennessee, and the Los Angeles Chargers. We will keep readers updated as more information is released.
