After sitting out last season, former Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le’Veon Bell will sign with the New York Jets on a 4-year, $52.5M deal.
During the 2017 season, Bell rushed for 1,291 yards and 9 TD on 321 carries. In a season where the team finished 13-3, Bell was a huge factor in the success of the offense.
With a promising quarterback in Sam Darnold, this is a great signing for the New York Jets. Last season, the Jets began to make stride towards success under their young centerpiece. With Bell, New York is one step closer to becoming a threat in the AFC East.
