Khris Davis Undergoes Surgery

Yes it’s true, the Milwaukee Brewers’ outfielder Khris Davis has undergone arthroscopic surgery on his right knee. The expected timetable for Davis to return is between four to six weeks, which can’t be a great sign for Brewers fans.

Just last Sunday, Davis was placed on the 15-day DL by the Brewers, and underwent the procedure 48 hours later.  The all of a sudden procedure did go successfully, but will he be the same?

If Davis were to return next year and be twice the player he is now, I’d be shocked.  Normally baseball players rely on their knees for speed, especially when it comes to tracking balls down in the outfield.  The Brewers will most likely keep a close eye on Davis, as he is one of the highlights of the Milwaukee organization.

Davis this season is hitting at .250, with five homeruns and sixteen RBI’s in just 46 games played.
