Kevin White to Undergo Shin Surgery

 

 
As of Saturday morning, the Chicago Bears have announced that rookie wide receiver Kevin White will undergo shin surgery. The surgery is reportedly to repair a stress fracture in his shin. 

G.M. Ryan Pace said that White will start the regular season on the Physically Unable to Preform list, and may miss the entire 2015 season. 

This is a huge blow to the Bears as they lost Brandon Marshall to the New York Jets, and seemed desperate find a replacement. 

Pace would go on to note that a “rod” will be placed in the tibia of White in order to stabilize it. What does this mean for fantasy? 

White would be a great pick in a late round if you are participating in a keeper league, but it’s safe to say that in all other cases, you will need to pass on Kevin White.
