After what seemed like a sprained knee on Tuesday, it has become reported (24 hours later) that Carolina Panthers wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin tore his ACL during practice.

Benjamin will miss the entire 2015 season, according to ESPN’s Ian Rapoport. Panthers head coach Ron Rivera initially stated that he believed Benjamin’s injury was a sprained knee.

What does this mean for the Panthers? It is defiantly not good news. Benjamin broke out last year as a rookie, and was hoping to increase his statistics.
