Jones Tests Positive for Steroids After UFC 214

Shocking news for all of the UFC has risen this week, as Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones has reportedly tested positive for steroids from his fight at UFC 214 against former champion, Daniel Cormier.

This has to be a disappointing day for many, as fans of Jones have been anxiously awaiting for his return. In result, the only glimpse they saw in the superstar has been cut short. For those who aren’t aware, this is now the second time that Jones has tested positive for steroid use. The first time around, Jones was suspended by the UFC for one year, and this time, we may seem him banished from the sport for good.

Before this turn of events, the most recent rumors included Jones desiring to go against former UFC Heavyweight Champion, Brock Lesnar. With Jones’ likely suspension being announced in the near future, the odds of a Lesnar vs Jones “super fight” are essentially diminished. If Jones is able to step back into the octagon in the distant future, it will be interesting to see whether he can stay clean.
