ESPN reports that the Dallas Cowboys have released RB Joesph Randle. Randle has caused a lot of drama in Dallas during his career. Many off the field issues have caused the Cowboys to cut ties with him.

Randle has been with the Cowboys for the entirety of his short career. He was named starter this season after Demarco Murray left for Philly.

Randle has 9 career touchdowns on 181 carries with 822 rushing yards in the NFL. In college, he had 564 carries, 3085 rushing yards and 40 TDs.

In October 2014, Randle was arrested for Class B Theft valued between $50-$500. He was accused of stealing mens underwear and cologne. In July 2015, he was put on probation. These, coupled with a few other incidents, caused his demise. However, one has to wonder, how come they release Randle but not a Greg Hardy? I do admit I am a fan of his play, but not so much the arguing with coaches and players.
