After failing to agree to a contract extension in the offseason, All-Pro safety Jamal Adams eventually elected to demand a trade from the New York Jets. On Saturday, the Jets fulfilled Adams’ wish.
In just three seasons, Adams has been named to two Pro Bowls and one All-Pro team. He is currently signed through the 2021 season, and will earn a base salary of $825,000 this year. During the 2019 campaign, Adams managed to total 75 tackles and 6.5 sacks from the secondary.
