Jeremy Lane to Make Season Debut?

Remember that guy that picked off Tom Brady in the Super Bowl last year? Seattle Seahawks cornerback Jeremy Lane claims he is ready to make his 2015 debut this upcoming Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals.

“I feel good. I feel like I’ve been ready a couple weeks ago,” Lane said on Wednesday.

Lane suffered a broken arm and torn ACL against New England last year in the first half of the Super Bowl. After going through nine long weeks on the PUP, Lane has been participating in limited practices starting Wednesday.

Coming back against the Cardinals may just be what the Seahawks need, as their defense as looked anything but elite this season.

With Ricardo Lockette done for the year with a neck injury, Lane could more than likely become the replacement if that is what Head Coach Pete Carroll decides to go with.

“He could play this weekend, but is it the right thing to do? That’s what we’re trying to figure out,” Carroll said
