The Jacksonville Jaguars 3rd Overall in the 2015 NFL Draft chose Dante Fowler Jr, and not even a month later, the star tore his ACL during eleven on eleven drills last Friday.  It’s been found that Fowler now will be out for the season.

The Jaguars franchise through the recent years has had terrible luck the last during draft day, along with the fact that they often contain double digit loss seasons, because of being in the cellar of the Andrew Luck controlled AFC South division .

This franchise certainly couldn’t afford to lose Fowler this early into the season, but injuries happen even to the best of players.  Usual recovery time from an ACL tear is eleven months on average, meaning that while Fowler will miss the season, he may also miss valuable time during the offseason to get to know his new teammates and also a brand new playbook. Fowler had 14.5 sacks in just three years at Florida, along with 140 total tackles and 3 forced fumbles.
