Houston Astros Hire New Manager

After punishment involving the use of technology during their 2017 World Series run, the MLB suspended AJ Hinch for the 2020 season. As a result, the team parted ways with their manager. On Wednesday, the team announced they have hired Dusty Baker to become the 24th manager in franchise history.

Unlike the Boston Red Sox, who won the World Series in 2018, Houston continued their winning ways. They reached the ALCS in 2018, and then made it to the World Series last season.

Despite losing the World Series last year, Houston has a talented roster. With a scandal involving players using buzzers, there are no further updates to whether the Astros will be further punished at this time.
