Walking into UFC 249 on Saturday Night against Dominick Cruz, UFC Bantamweight Champion Henry Cejudo was looking to solidify his legacy as one of the best Bantamweights of all time and now his career his over. On Saturday, after defeating Dominick Cruz and retaining his UFC Bantamweight Championship he announced in his post fight interview that he is retiring after 6 years in the UFC.

In his 7 years fighting, Cejudo has been the UFC Bantamweight Champion, UFC Flyweight Champion, a multi-division champion holding Bantamweight and Flyweight Title, and held both titles simultaneously. Cejudo ends his career with a record of 16-2.
