Former QB Stabler Pronounced Dead

Former quarterback of the Oakland Raiders Ken Stabler was pronounced dead on Wednesday. According to ESPN, Stabler died from Stage four colon cancer at the age of 69. The Raiders organization would confirm the rumors on Thursday.
The Alabama native threw for almost 28,000 yards in his career during his 15-year run in the NFL. Stabler would go on to finish with a starting record of 96-49-1, along with one Super Bowl victory over the Minnesota Vikings.
The four-time Pro Bowler would go on to win MVP in 1974, leaving fans questioning whether he should be in the Hall of Fame. Stabler started for over seven seasons in the NFL, as he was known for his precise execution on and off the field.
ESPN added that Stabler donated his brain and spinal cord to Boston University in order to further their research in degenerative brain disease among athletes.
