On Wednesday, it was reported that Floyd Mayweather has officially pulled out of his fight against Tenshin Nasukawa at RIZIN 14. This comes days after he returned to the United States and posted on his Instagram, where he stated that he never officially agreed to a fight.
For whatever it’s worth, I had only heard that the Floyd-Tenshin fight was going to be an exhibition fight. In any event, three days later, according to Floyd, it’s off.

This is disappointing, due to the fact that everyone wanted to see if Mayweather would be able to adapt to kick boxing. After all the backlash from the media, it appears Mayweather had second thoughts and didn’t want any part of this fight.
Mayweather has been teasing fights since after his bout with McGregor. He has previously noted that he wanted to fight Manny Pacquiao, Khabib Nurmagomedov and now Nasukawa. With how much he teases, it looks like Mayweather doesn’t really want to come out of retirement.
