Dez Bryant Progressing Towards NFL Comeback

Despite not playing in each of the last two seasons, NFL wide receiver Dez Bryant is still working towards his return to make an active roster ahead of the 2020 campaign.

Bryant, who spent eight seasons with the Dallas Cowboys, accumulated 531 receptions, 7,459 receiving yards and 73 touchdowns. His touchdown total is a franchise record for Dallas.

On Friday, video was caught of Bryant working out with reigning Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes. Despite Bryant and Mahomes’ session, its unlikely he will find himself as a member of the Kansas City Chiefs.

After previously signing with the New Orleans Saints, Bryant tore his Achilles in November during a practice. The team was preparing for a Week 10 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Next season seems distant at the moment, but Bryant has had his eyes on three specific teams.

This, of course, references the Dallas Cowboys, New Orleans Saints and Baltimore Ravens. It is unclear at this time whether Bryant has been in contact with any of those suitors directly.

When asked about re-joining the Cowboys, Bryant stated “if the opportunity is there, I’m going to take it. But for damn sure I’m getting back on that field.”
